This position is responsible for assisting the driver in every aspect of product delivery to customers in an efficient and safe manner by following all company procedures. On occasion, this position will be required to make deliveries in a Class B CMV when short staffed.
Responsibilities And Duties- Load and unload product with hand dolly and electric pallet jack
- Secure and balance load
- Assist driver to find delivery locations
- Assist the driver to spot danger when driving or parking
- Assisting with delivery reports
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle according to FMCSA standards and regulations
- Properly track and document activity logs
- Report any issues or incidents to transportation manager
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Class B Commercial driver's license
- Must be over the age of 21
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Diligent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills
- $18.75/hour
- Benefits and PTO after 60 days
- Monday thru Friday schedule
