Warehouse Operator

DSV -  - Responsibilities:
Performs daily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function;
Adheres to warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services;
Unloads inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination;
Stage, stack and load merchandise in the appropriate areas;
Move product from staging/unloading areas into the correct load door and assigned trailer;
Ensure trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering;
Load/Unload product using proper handling techniques;
Segregate, check, and stage inbound product correctly;
Verify driver, trailer, and bills for specific carrier/location;
Count freight with the driver and ensure requirements are followed;
Load trailer for safe transit and obtain driver signatures on paperwork;
Perform forklift activities as required;
Labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed; maintain a clean, safe work environment;
Maintain organized desk/office area;
Perform other duties as assigned
