Field Supervisor

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc., is currently seeking a full‑time Field Supervisor to work alongside Highway Maintenance Technicians in Houston, TX. The Supervisor will oversee a variety of highway maintenance tasks, including attenuator repair/install, sign repair/install, guardrail repair, concrete repair, and related activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.

• Bilingual in English & Spanish
• Minimum 5 years of supervisor/field lead experience in highway maintenance
• Roadway/toll lane maintenance experience
• Industry knowledge of highway maintenance and/or the construction transportation field
• Operator of wheel loader, skid steer, forklift, mini excavator, etc.

• 5+ years of roadway maintenance experience
• MOT certifications (traffic control)
• CDL license a plus

Clean driving record is essential.

Must pass criminal background check. Company will conduct Background check, MVR and Controlled Substance testing prior to hire.

• Minimum associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in the field as a Supervisor/Lead worker
• Maintain company standards for background checks
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions
• Maintain proper safety equipment for each job
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
• Ability to use smartphone and applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule and answer emergency call outs
• Ability to work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly while twisting; other strenuous manual labor may be required

Full time; typical schedule Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM‑4:00 PM. Must be flexible and work varying schedules.
