Intermodal Dispatcher

This is a full-time on-site Dispatcher role located in Houston, TX. As a Dispatcher at New Wave, you will oversee real-time coordination of freight, ensuring drivers adhere to scheduled routes and timelines. Responsibilities include managing route optimization, maintaining regular communication with drivers and customers, resolving logistical challenges, and updating stakeholders on delivery statuses. Accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are essential to ensuring high-quality service in this position.

• Proficiency in route optimization, scheduling, and logistics coordination
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective interaction with drivers, clients, and internal teams
• Experience with IM dispatch software, tracking systems, and other logistics tools
• Ability to stay calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of freight operations and compliance standards
• MUST have at least 3 year experience in the ever changing intermodal Houston industry
• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bilingual and additional education or certifications in logistics is a plus
