Job Description
Key essential skills include:
- 2-5 years hands‑on experience in shipping supervision in a fast‑paced, high‑volume shipping department.
- Ability to drive a forklift, handle materials, and act as an effective planner.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, carriers, customer service staff, and management.
- Ensure all orders are planned, prepared, and shipped 100% accurate, on time, and within a 3‑5 day lead time.
- Strong written and computer data entry skills; fast learner of the ATCO shipping computer system.
- Proficiency with TMS is a plus.
- Strong ability to manage incoming materials and inventory control.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and meet all shipping expectations and goals.
