Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver
Position:
Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Location:
Houston, TX – work from the Med Speed hub in the Westchase area daily

- Fixed, predictable schedule
- Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company‑owned vehicle.
- Operate a hand‑held scanning device to track items accurately through the transportation cycle.
- Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
- Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
- Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
- Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
- Conduct pre‑post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle.
- Adapt to route duties that vary by client and business needs; routes may change from time to time.
- Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
- Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- 19 years or older with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
- Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to it.
- Ability to follow procedures closely.
- Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
- Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
- Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
- Must have an active chauffeur’s license or be willing to obtain one.
- Excellent driving history.
- Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (if required by local mandates).
- Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Handle varying item weights and physical demands, including lifting from storage racks.
- Comfortable walking long distances and standing for extended periods.
