PrimaryJob Duties
- Ensure safety and comfort of customers onboard the aircraft.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment with employees and customers.
- Efficiently prepare, serve, and restock in‑flight beverages, meals, snacks, and sell onboard liquor and food.
- Greet passengers, assist with carry‑on baggage stowage, and deliver onboard announcements.
- Provide effective leadership, direction, and assistance in emergency and non‑emergency situations.
- Calmly resolve passenger situations during flight, including disorderly passengers and medical emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and operating cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment such as escape slides, fire extinguishers, portable oxygen bottles, and AEDs.
- Adhere to established procedures and performance standards without supervision.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book valid for at least the next 12 months and any necessary visas for travel between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
- Excellent English communication skills for safety information and clear reporting.
- Comfortable using basic functions of electronic devices and PEDs for audio/video systems and in‑flight purchases.
- Willingness to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel frequently and remain alone and unsupervised for long periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to relocate to a company‑assigned crew domicile after successful completion of Sky West In‑Flight Training.

- Height 5’0” to 6’0” (without shoes) and weight must allow safe operation of the aircraft.
- Physical ability to walk, bend below ankle level, reach above shoulder, open and close vehicle doors and emergency exits up to 45 pounds, push and pull beverage carts up to 250 pounds, and lift, store, transport items where needed.
- Corrected vision no more than 20/40.
- Normal or corrected hearing range within 15–17 kHz.
- Professional, neat, and clean appearance; no extreme hair styles or colors.
- Permitted single stud nose piercing up to 2 mm; up to two piercings per ear; other facial piercings not allowed.
- Visible tattoos allowed with placement and size limitations; offensive tattoos must be covered.
- Company issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering required throughout training and career.
After phase one and two of initial new‑hire training, new hire flight attendants receive a guaranteed 76 flight hours. All flight hours flown are paid.
Pay- Base compensation: $30.32 per flight hour (76 flight hours × $30.32 = $2,304.32 gross per month).
