Route Driver - Micromarket

Job Summary

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains micro market and related equipment. They represent Canteen professionally, maintaining excellent client relationships and pursuing advancement opportunities.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Understand and administer company policies as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance.
• Ensure truck is loaded with required product before each route and follow operational procedures.
• Inform clients of new products or services, listen to, and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or provide sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform all job functions safely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in a customer service position or at least 1 year of related experience.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license (unless otherwise indicated by state).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Willingness to operate or learn material‑handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Work independently and be responsible for route; unsupervised for 98% of the workday.
• Must be able to work full‑time Monday through Friday; schedule may vary.

• Hourly pay: $17.50.
