ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting safe, proper shuttle operations through scheduling, employee communication, and shift management.
- Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service; cover open shifts on short notice when necessary.
- Use basic office equipment and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
- Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Hold a valid CDL Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement and a DOT medical card to be carried at all times while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Assist customers and employees courteously by answering questions and directing customers to the Facility Manager when needed.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Facilitate monthly driver meetings, company training requirements, and changes to daily operating procedures as necessary. Have thorough knowledge of all areas of field operations, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the service area.
- Assist Facility Managers with other duties as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class A, B or C driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement (depending on location) and DOT medical card.
- Prior knowledge or experience with shuttle or other dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, employee management, and FMCSR preferred.
- Availability to work special shift requirements, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
- Proficient written and verbal communication in English, including simple correspondence and presenting information to customers and employees.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, Hours of Service calculations).
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance in full uniform at all times.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including frequent transitions between sitting and standing and use of phone or two‑way radio.
$17.00 per hour
