Location:
Houston, TX

Schedule:
Monday - Friday start time between 5:00am - 7:00am until completion

Weekly Guarantee: $1,250 per week

• Safely drive truck to vendors and company drop-off sites
• Verify freight on truck, required trailer temperatures and accuracy of freight with vendors
• Return tractor and trailer to division when route is completed
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection

• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
• Must be able to perform coupling procedures for the Tractor/Trailer

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Willingness to travel 2-3 times per week required
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The training base rate is $250/day and after training will be paid component pay based on miles, cases, and stops as applicable. As applicable, this role may also receive component pay.
