We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. This role involves performing onsite client pickups of decommissioned IT equipment, ensuring secure handling and transport in accordance with company and industry data security standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to safe driving practices, excellent customer service, and reliable schedule management. Prior experience in logistics or ITAD services is a plus, but not required.
Schedule& Compensation
- Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM with occasional flexible hours when required.
- Salary: $55,000 plus extended travel bonuses.
- Reports to:
Warehouse Manager.
- Perform local and regional pick‑ups, including travel up to 50 % of the time.
- Drive, load, transport, and unload equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load content securely, follow ISO/industry best practices for data security.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, partners, and team via phone and email.
- Complete vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and research resale value of incoming electronic equipment.
- Sort and process materials according to company procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, and other material‑handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and work areas.
- Support cross‑functional teams and departmental needs as required.
- Utilize company systems and communication tools to coordinate work and share information.
Work Environment Requirements
- Lift or move heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
- Stand, sit, or work for prolonged periods.
- Work in a non‑climate‑controlled warehouse exposed to extreme temperatures, moderate noise, and a fast‑paced atmosphere.
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Clean criminal record.
- Must pass a post‑hire drug screen.
- Overnight travel required, up to 50 % of the time.
- Possess a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate, or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent driving and navigation skills.
- Experience driving larger vehicles is a plus.
