Job Description

• Operate all delivery equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product and maintain inventory.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors and distribute flyers or door hangers.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Make correct monetary change and process orders accurately.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
• Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery where required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Ability to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.
• Strong navigational skills and ability to navigate adverse terrain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately and quickly.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and climb as described below.
• Open to learning and training provided on the job.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters including a walk‑in cooler.
• Potential hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F and sharp edges.
• Needs of the job include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

• Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking – for short distances and durations on various surfaces.
• Sitting – for paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting – lifting bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds and stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Carrying – carrying items ranging from 3 to 12 pounds over short distances.
• Pushing and Pulling – moving trays on dollies that may require up to 7.5 pounds of force.
• Climbing – infrequently navigating stairs or climbing a ladder to perform maintenance.

• Deliver products by car to customer locations and deliver marketing materials.
• Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
• Make several deliveries per shift within a designated delivery area.

• Successful navigation and delivery of products to multiple locations during a shift.
• Adherence to company standards for safe driving and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage time efficiently.
• Competency in using technology for order entry and communication.
