ABOUT THE JOB

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
You must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record that meets company standards. You must also have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery and be able to navigate addresses within a designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
ADVANCEMENT
Many team members begin as delivery drivers and progress to franchise ownership, store management, or corporate operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
TRAINING
Orientation and training is provided on the job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in colder areas to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature both inside and outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including a walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
SENSING
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
TEMPERAMENTS
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. - Walking:
For short distances and short durations on surfaces such as ceramic tile or linoleum; work surfaces range from 36" to 48" high. - Sitting:
Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries may involve lifting up to 50‑pound items onto shelves up to 72" high. - Carrying:
Items such as large cans (3‑lb 7‑oz), pizza sauce (30‑lb), and pizza dough trays (12‑lb each) are carried short distances. - Pushing:
Trays on a dolly may require up to 7.5‑lb force to push; trays may also be pulled. - Climbing:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders to access maintenance areas. - Forward bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching:
Required for assembly and stocking tasks, including reaching above 72". - Hand tasks:
Continuous use of hands, forearms, and wrists; manipulation of pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard boxes.
DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
- Deliver product by car to customers' doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
REQUIRES
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Carrying:
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking, climbing stairs, and climbing during delivery. - Driving:
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift. - Walking:
Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customers' locations. - Climbing:
Navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required during delivery.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering products, driving, and promoting coupons.
SENSING
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
