CDL Class A OTR Driver

Job Description

Base pay starts at $37.00 per hour

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top‑notch customer service. The driver will work primarily on OTR deliveries and may be required to work weekends based on business needs.

• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Immediately report any required repairs and/or maintenance.
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett.
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site.
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• At least 2 years of commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience acceptable).
• Willingness to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
