Transportation Safety & Compliance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Transportation Safety & Compliance Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting driver operations across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in DOT regulations, fleet safety, and driver training who is passionate about operational excellence.

What You’ll do as a Transportation Safety & Compliance Manager
  • Oversee and enforce safety policies across assigned zTrip locations
  • Conduct routine audits, inspections, and compliance evaluations
  • Maintain accurate records of driver qualifications, certifications, background checks, and drug screenings
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, implementing corrective action plans
  • Stay up to date with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure consistent safety practices
  • Support the creation and delivery of driver safety training programs
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, leadership, and regulatory agencies
What We’re Looking for as a Transportation Safety & Compliance Manager
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, compliance standards, and fleet operations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and locations in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience in transportation safety, compliance, or operations preferred
