Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver

Hours:

Saturday & Sunday 9:30pm - 06:00am. Pay: $15.00/hr (plus $1/hr shift differential for weekend). Start and end at Med Speed Hub in Westchase, Houston.

• Drive a company‑owned vehicle safely and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Adapt to varied route duties based on client and business needs; route assignments may change over time.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to it.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle under various road and weather conditions.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination as required by location and local mandates.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to handle varying item weights and physical demands, including lifting from storage racks and walking long distances or standing for extended periods.
