Meritus Texas, a leading supplier of full-range industrial gases, is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to join their team in Houston, TX
.
If you have a valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and at least 1 year of driving experience, Meritus Texas wants to hear from you!

- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Clean driving record
- Must have Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift, push or move product weighing 100lbs.
- Must meet the physical qualification requirement established for the USDOT
- Must pass DOT drug screen and be enrolled in a random drug screen program
- Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of industrial, medical and specialty gases preferred, but not required
- Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads product to and from specified destinations.
- Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.
- Performs pre and post trip inspections on truck according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
- Complies with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements.
- Completes all company, state and federal required training.
- Maintains truck cleanliness and performs general maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Willing to operate equipment in all types of weather conditions and adhere to a schedule determined by client demand.
- Maintain required DOT, Federal, State and company records including handwritten logs or digital logs, hours of service, payroll hours, vehicle inspections, job and maintenance reports, service tickets, and shipping manifests according to state and federal DOT regulations.
- Maintain appropriate driver’s license with required endorsements.
