Dispatch Logistics Systems Specialist

Poolsure, an Aquasol Company is searching for a tech‑savvy Dispatch / Logistics & Systems Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX
.

This hybrid role is primarily responsible for routing and coordinating our driver fleet using a suite of specialized software tools and plays a key part in maintaining and improving those systems. This position is equal parts logistics coordination and IT support, making it a great fit for someone who is comfortable thinking on their feet and digging into software when something needs to be fixed or configured.

• Build and assign daily delivery routes for drivers, optimizing for efficiency, cost, and time constraints
• Monitor routes in real time and make on‑the‑fly adjustments based on priority, weather, traffic, or emergencies
• Communicate with drivers via phone and Slack to ensure all delivery plans are clearly understood
• Review previous day's routes to identify inefficiencies and continuously improve scheduling strategies
• Make judgment calls on when to dispatch drivers to specific areas to maximize productivity and minimize cost
• Serve as the point of contact for drivers and customers during active routes to troubleshoot issues and communicate changes
• Handle after‑hours and emergency delivery decisions as needed
• Maintain accurate customer data including access codes, delivery time frames, special restrictions, and account details in Salesforce and related systems
• Identify accounts that may benefit from adjustments (e.g., tank upgrades, sensor installs) and make recommendations to the appropriate team
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and support the routing and dispatch systems used by the team, ensuring reliability
• Work closely with the systems department to implement changes and improvements to routing software
• Construct and program new implementations to address problems as they arise
• Apply working knowledge of business applications to complete tasks and improve workflows

• Experience working with Routing/Fleet Software and/or CRM systems, such as Salesforce
• Strong computer skills — the kind of person who figures software out and doesn't shy away from technical problems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
• Clear, professional communication with both drivers in the field and customers
• Detail‑oriented with a knack for spotting inefficiencies and solving problems proactively
• Comfortable making independent decisions under pressure, including outside of regular business hours
• Experience in logistics, dispatch, or a related field is a plus — but we are open to training the right person
• Familiarity with DOT regulations or hazmat transportation requirements is a plus
