• Greeting customers and ensuring they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to check tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items
• Helping maintain clean, safe facilities for customers and associates
• Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• The ability and willingness to work outside
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to understand and comply with Penske policies and guidelines
• Must adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool and PPE use
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Because the role involves driving Penske and customer vehicles, a current driver qualification file is required as per DOT rules; this includes an annual MVR check, a completed DOT physical, and Safety History requests from prior employers in the last 3 years. CDL holders will have a DOT drug screen within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
• Willingness to work the required schedule, at the required location, and to pass background checks, drug screen, and physical as required by DOT; potential travel within a nearby geography for training

• Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods
• Use hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and operate tools or controls
• Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
• Work safely in all weather conditions
• Vision and hearing sufficient to navigate a busy work environment
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg); ability to push/pull tires over 100 lbs as needed
