• a valid class "a" cdl in the state of residence
• be eligible for employment in the u.s.
• be at least 25 years old
• have an acceptable motor vehicle record (mvr)
• be able to operate a standard transmission
• have two or more years verifiable tractor‑trailer driving experience within the last five (5) calendar years
• meet all interstate dot standards
• have no drug or alcohol violations including all fmcsr related violations
• pass a pre‑employment dot drug screen and physical
• pass criminal background checks
• pass a written exam and road test
• be available to work various dispatches including layover schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays
• must have a cell phone

no more than (1) moving violation in a three‑year period or (2) moving violations within a five‑year period. No speeding violation or other moving violation involving a construction zone, or school zone. No dot chargeable accident within a three‑year period, and no more than one (1) chargeable accident in years four or five of a five‑year review. No fatality accidents. No serious traffic violations.

Serious violations, as defined by dot, include but are not limited to violations such as speeding 15mph or more over the limit, reckless driving, unsafe lane changes, following too closely, dwi or dui.
