Job Description
Shuttle Drivers(CDL) transports Methodist and Aramark Employees to their respective destinations maintaining proper etiquette and driving expertise at all times. Each driver must integrate Aramark’s values to serve with passion and ICARE Values consistent with The Methodist Hospital Policies (HR01). Under the direct supervision of the Shuttle Supervisor and Assistant Manager, this position will perform according to established procedures as described for Shuttle Drivers.
Expected duties are to maintain a high quality of service that meets and exceeds the company’s code of conduct.
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers and co-workers. Is responsive to customer needs.
- Maintain your assigned bus or van in a clean and neat manner.
- Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment.
- Maintain proper speed at all times.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a clean, neat appearance to represent the company.
- Deliver equipment and food product as specified by daily event/order schedules.
- Clean all vehicles and equipment after use.
- Fuel vehicles as necessary.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
- Report necessary maintenance or repairs on equipment and vehicles to Managers in a timely manner.
- Maintain storage rooms in an orderly fashion.
- Maintain and upkeep cleanliness of equipment and all other supplies.
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, road signs, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Report moving violations that are received on or off duty to manager immediately.
- Perform opening and closing side work as needed.
- Work in other areas or departments as needed.

QualificationsMust be able to load and unload trucks in all weather conditions, to meet the needs of the business. Involves working with chemicals, heated equipment, steam, and other at-risk conditions.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
