Dispatcher, PDOT Shuttle Operations

Overview

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company for the real world. We use computer vision to enable checkout‑free parking experiences. There’s no fumbling with tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards – just drive in and drive out.

• Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service; cover open shifts on short notice when necessary.
• Maintain basic office equipment such as phone, fax and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Carry a valid DOT Medical Card at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Assist customers and employees by answering questions; direct them to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Report any known accidents, violations, safety hazards or other unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Facilitate monthly driver meetings, company training requirements, and changes to daily operating procedures as necessary. Possess thorough knowledge of all areas of field operations, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the service area.
• Assist Facility Managers with other duties as needed.

Education Required: High School Degree or equivalent.
License Requirement: Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
DOT Medical Card: Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability to Work: Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location hiring needs.
Language

Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend, write, speak and communicate all aspects of job‑related information in English; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and group situations to customers and employees.
Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add and subtract; understand and adhere to Hours of Service regulations, including frequent calculations involving quarter hours.
Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

$$17.00 per hour
