Overview
Supports the commercial team by preparing quotes, tracking performance metrics, and identifying market opportunities. This role plays a key part in maintaining rate folders, meeting team objectives, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Meets team objectives, weekly KPIs, and annual performance goals.
- Prepares and tracks quotes for Out-of-Gauge (OOG) and Breakbulk shipments, including volume and revenue targets.
- Focuses on maintaining and updating Project Cargo rate folders.
- Identifies operational challenges and market opportunities to support strategic decisions.
- Provides timely and accurate customer service in response to rate inquiries.
- Reports performance and quoting activity to management.
- Participates in team onboarding and collaboration initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support quoting and analysis functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, supply chain or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
- Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Great team player
- Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software
