Job Description:

• The job requires candidates to be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Texas Driver’s license with a clean driving record, and possess a Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Workers Identification Credential). Responsibilities include driving to specified locations to collect pre-bagged garbage and visiting scheduled vessel sites to properly bag waste for safe transfer to Texana Trucks. When not engaged in waste collection, employees will perform cleaning and maintenance tasks at the office and yard to ensure a minimum of 40 hours of work per week.
  
  The ideal candidate should reside within the 77044-zip code area or close proximity.
• The trash collection schedule is subject to confirmation and may include early mornings and late nights, with work potentially required from Monday through Sunday. Flexibility is crucial, as operational needs may necessitate changes to the schedule, including weekend shifts, which will be determined by the Operations Manager.
• Employees are expected to bag trash in accordance with MARPOL Annex V regulations and manage food waste per established policies. They must also ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of trucks in line with USDA / CBP standards and take care of all necessary equipment, including trucks, yard tractors, tools, and dollies. Adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
