Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CDL Flatbed Truck Driver role based in Houston, TX. The driver will operate a flatbed truck to safely transport freight across regional and long-haul routes, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery. Typical responsibilities include securing and tarping loads, performing loading and unloading tasks as needed, and conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. The driver will follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and route plans while maintaining accurate logs, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch.

The role requires a strong focus on safe driving practices, professional customer interactions, and care for company equipment.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess CDL Class A and proven Truck Driving experience with flatbed operations.
  • Candidates should possess skills in safe Unloading, load securement, and basic truck handling and maintenance awareness.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and adherence to all federal, state, and company safety standards.
  • Clean driving record and eligibility to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.
  • Ability to lift and secure freight, work in varying weather conditions, and follow detailed safety procedures.
  • Strong time management, communication skills, and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
  • Previous flatbed or heavy freight experience is preferred; local familiarity with Houston and regional routes is a plus.
