Job Description
We are looking for a CDL Delivery Driver to join our growing team. The role involves distributing products promptly to customers, transporting and delivering items to designated locations, and following routes and schedules set by an immediate supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities- Complete delivery of customer orders as outlined by the delivery ticket.
- Deliver a variety of items to different addresses and routes.
- Convey products from truck to the customer’s designated storage areas.
- Follow routes and time schedules.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all delivered merchandise.
- Prevent damage to company equipment, facilities, and products; maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment.
- Follow applicable safety guidelines, government regulations, and company safety manuals.
- Respond to customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
- May work in the warehouse on occasion.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of delivery experience (entry level considered).
- High School diploma or GED.
- CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with local area and surrounding locations.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds regularly.
- Ability to pass job‑related employment screenings.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100 lbs.
- Regularly sit in a truck and drive a company vehicle.
- Ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop, and maintain balance.
