Project Logistics Coordinator – Heavy Haul Cargo
I’m recruiting for a leading global project logistics business specialising in OOG, heavy lift, oversized and complex cargo.
They’re looking for a Project Logistics Coordinator to support the planning and execution of specialised transportation projects across road, rail and barge.
Key responsibilities:- Coordinate project cargo and specialised transportation
- Support carrier sourcing, RFQs/RFPs and rate negotiation
- Coordinate schedules, documentation and shipment milestones
- Liaise with clients, carriers, terminals and internal teams
- Support cost analysis and project reporting
- Assist with OOG / over-dimensional logistics and permitting
- Track shipments and help resolve operational issues
- Experience in project logistics, freight forwarding or transportation
- Strong coordination and organisational skills
- Understanding of specialised/OOG transportation
- Good communication and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Houston-based, with occasional travel for site visits
