Salary: 24.00 - 29.00 USD / HOUR

• Class C Commercial Driver’s License

The company is a leading global provider of logistics and transportation solutions, including express courier delivery, freight forwarding, supply chain management, e-commerce, and records management services, is seeking a Commercial Driver to join our team at our Houston location .

The candidate will be responsible for safely transporting company goods from our Houston Locations to Airports . The ideal candidate will be alert and oriented at all times, pay excellent attention to detail, and be capable of working independently.

• Maintain the safety, security, and control of the company truck and vehicle at all times.
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicles.
• Pick up and safely transport goods to their intended destination.
• Ensure all contents are properly secured in the truck or flatbed to prevent damage or injury.
• Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.
• Assist in mapping driving routes.
• Stay on the predetermined route and ensure timely transportation and delivery.
• Communicate with Dispatch as needed.
• Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest documentation.
• Perform inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip.
• Check weather conditions and road reports before departure.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean at all times.
• Maintain and service the vehicle as needed, including refueling, checking oil, maintaining tire pressure, and reporting repairs.
• Notify management of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Follow the delivery schedule and take required rest breaks at appropriate times.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Track and report working hours.
• Adhere to all company rules, policies, and regulations.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and adjust driving practices according to weather and road conditions.
• Comply with applicable ICC and DOT regulations .
• Make safety a priority at all times.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver.
• Prior experience in a freight forwarding or logistics environment is preferred.
• Class C Commercial Driver’s License .
• Must be at least 21 years of age .
• Must possess a currently valid driver’s license.
• Must satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). have a clean driving record.
• Valid Guard Card or ability to obtain a Guard Card or any other required licenses.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds .

• Must be able to work in inclement weather.
• Occasional work before or after regular working hours, at the discretion of the Supervisor.
• Work is primarily performed on the road.
