Parts Driver

The Parts Driver / Runner is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering parts and supplies needed to support MMG’s fleet, Gunite crews, and shop operations. This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, communicates well, and can manage multiple requests while prioritizing urgent needs.

• Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and equipment throughout Houston and surrounding areas.
• Order and purchase parts as requested by the fleet and shop.
• Deliver parts directly to Gunite crews, shop, and MMG plants as needed.
• Coordinate multiple parts requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Plan efficient driving routes to complete multiple pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate with vendors, parts stores, drivers, mechanics, supervisors, and field crews by phone, text, and in person.
• Ask questions and obtain clarification when needed to ensure the correct parts are ordered or picked up.
• Keep track of multiple requests and provide updates on the status of parts and deliveries.
• Operate a forklift when needed and properly trained.
• Perform basic/minimal shop-related tasks and assist shop personnel as needed.
• Travel between different MMG plants and job locations as assigned.
• Work outdoors and in Houston’s heat, humidity, rain, and other weather conditions.
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned to support fleet, shop, and field operations.

• High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of diesel and automotive parts preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize requests.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to become forklift certified as required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
