Regional freight reliability and balanced scheduling give CDL A drivers in Raleigh a consistent operation without unnecessary changes from one week to the next. This position combines established freight lanes, steady customer demand, and organized dispatch planning to help drivers maintain productive miles while keeping scheduled home time in the rotation. Drivers who prefer longer runs, no-touch freight, and a straightforward operating schedule can settle into a dependable routine while earning consistent weekly pay.

Drivers haul dry van freight through established regional lanes connecting North Carolina with surrounding Southeast and East Coast freight markets. Regular customer volume helps maintain consistent load availability throughout the year and provides drivers with reliable opportunities to keep moving.

The majority of freight is no-touch, with a combination of drop-and-hook loads and scheduled live unloads. Average haul lengths are approximately 700 to 750 miles, allowing drivers to build weekly mileage without relying on a high number of short trips.

Drivers typically earn between $1,250 and $1,500 per week depending on mileage, freight volume, and overall performance. The established freight network helps provide a steady workload and supports more consistent earnings from week to week.

Qualifying detention pay is available for eligible customer delays. Additional performance incentives may also be available for safe driving and dependable service.

Drivers follow a structured 12-day running schedule followed by 48 hours at home every other weekend. Dispatch coordinates freight around the operating cycle to help maintain both productive mileage and scheduled home time.

Whenever possible, upcoming loads are coordinated before the current assignment is completed. This helps reduce unnecessary waiting between loads and gives drivers better visibility into what is coming next.

Drivers operate late-model sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with APUs and power inverters, along with refrigerator space for additional convenience during time away from home.

Equipment receives regular preventive maintenance to help reduce avoidable downtime and keep drivers moving.

After meeting eligibility requirements, drivers have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) participation. Rider and pet programs are available for approved drivers.

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months recent tractor-trailer experience
