Environmental Allies is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Parts Runner to support our mechanic shop and field operations in Houston. This is a full-time, on-site role that combines driving with hands-on shop support. The employee will divide time among parts runs, inventory and organization, and assisting the mechanic shop with daily operational needs.
Important Vehicle RequirementApplicants must provide their own reliable 2500 or 3500 truck and be able to safely tow a gooseneck trailer. This is a required condition of the position.
Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
- Safely tow and maneuver a gooseneck trailer when required.
- Receive, organize, label, and track parts inventory.
- Place approved parts and supply orders and follow up on availability.
- Apply unit-number decals to company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist mechanics with basic tasks and light repairs as directed.
- Keep the warehouse, parts area, and shop clean and organized.
- Operate vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment according to company safety procedures.
- Complete assigned errands accurately and on time.
- Communicate promptly about deliveries, delays, damaged items, and inventory needs.

Required Qualifications
- Own a reliable 2500 or 3500 truck capable of safely towing a gooseneck trailer.
- Experience safely towing and maneuvering a gooseneck trailer.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Current vehicle registration and insurance that meet company requirements.
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a mechanic-shop and warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move parts and supplies as required.
- At least one year of gooseneck-trailer towing and maneuvering experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Parts-inventory experience.
