Location:

Houston North Warehouse

• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and providing support as needed in the Inventory department.
• Daily cycle counting and inventory maintenance for packaging, film, condiment, trailers, and finished goods inventories. Ability to operate sit‑down forklift.
• Provide a timely and accurate inventory of all products in locations.
• Accurate data entry and file maintenance in SAP and JDA.
• Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and other company procedures.
• Interface with warehouse operations and production as needed.
• Inventory variance review, research, and explanation as needed. Follow up on findings with corrective actions where appropriate, including MUV research and reports for Accounting or Inventory Manager.
• Report Peco Inventory weekly and explain any variances.
• Maintain files so that they are readily available for review.
• Certified to drive material handling equipment. Utilize manual and automated material handling equipment.
• Transport stored items within the warehouse.
• Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, and Customer Service Team on a regular basis (proactive communication and information sharing as needed).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Practice and adhere to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
• Keep work area clean and remove trash from floor. Store supplies in designated areas. Keep aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions.
• Follow instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identify/report defective equipment.
• Report all job‑related injuries to supervision.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Mandatory overtime may be required.
• Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).
• May perform other duties as required.

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 2‑year experience in a warehousing environment required.
• Previous experience with JDA or similar based WMS system; a minimum of 2 years in a warehouse position.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred.

The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office areas but moderate on the warehouse floor. Temperature is ambient and impacted by seasonal changes.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
