Material Handler​/Sorter

Smart International, Inc. has been in business for 25 years dealing with plastic distribution. We move freight both nationally and internationally, domestic trucking and international shipping knowledge is welcome. • Identify, organize, and sort plastic material.
• Separate, sort, and shovel scrap plastic materials for shipment.
• Load and unload materials into/from pallets, boxes, and baler.
• Apply strapping and wrapping to boxes and baled materials with hand tools.
• Perform routine Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on warehouse equipment.
• Keep warehouse production floor free of debris and scrap plastic.

• Sign warehouse shipments in/out of the warehouse log.
• Identify incoming box material contents and direct to appropriate queues.

• Strong work ethics & positive attitude.
• Must follow OSHA safety standards.
• Detail-oriented and fast learner.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Team player.

Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves) will be provided.
