POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Logistics Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in supporting inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping operations, and overall operational accuracy at our Houston Texas facility. This position is responsible for executing daily warehouse activities with precision, maintaining accurate system records, and ensuring timely and compliant shipment of materials.

This is an in-person role and an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in structured environments, value teamwork, and take pride in precision and accountability. This role provides hands‑on experience with supply chain operations, inventory management systems, and logistics technologies, including Oracle Net Suite, Amazon Seller platforms, and Defense Logistics Agency Vendor Shipment Module (DLA VSM). The position will also support basic Net Suite administrative functions to ensure system data accuracy.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and operational best practices.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment in compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Understand and execute the shelf/bin organization system to accurately store and locate inventory.
  • Perform and accurately record item receipt, transfers, adjustments, and fulfillment transactions in Net Suite.
  • Maintain Item Master data within Net Suite, including updating quantities, locations, serial numbers, and status changes.
  • Assist with Net Suite administrative tasks including processing inventory adjustments, maintaining accurate item records, ensuring accuracy with user transactions, generating inventory and shipping reports, data cleanup and system organization.
  • Pull, pack, and fulfill orders in accordance with approved orders and task requirements.
  • Execute shipping duties: preparing shipments, printing labels, scheduling carriers, packaging items securely, verifying accurate outbound information, and ensuring on‑time dispatch.
  • Support shipping operations using UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, and freight carriers as required.
  • Support warehouse, shipping, and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
  • Conduct physical stock counts and assist with internal accounting and inventory audits.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and performance for the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience required.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Suites and computer proficiency is required.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is required.
  • Experience with Oracle Net Suite or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic shipping procedures and carrier systems (e.g., UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, freight) is a plus.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for local travel between worksite and warehouse locations.
  • High attention to detail and strong accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on‑site is required.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds.
TRAVEL
  • 10% travel in U.S. to include local travel between work locations in the Houston, Texas area.
