This position is primarily responsible for maintaining accurate, real-time records of all company inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist ensures inventory visibility, accuracy, and traceability across all locations, supporting manufacturing, logistics, and operations by monitoring stock levels, movements, and physical counts. The role focuses on data integrity, process discipline, and continuous improvement of inventory control practices.

Essential functions include:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and movement using computerized inventory control systems.
  • Performing regular cycle counts and coordinating periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, variances, and adjustments.
  • Ensuring inventory transactions are properly recorded, including receipts, transfers, issues, and returns.
  • Coordinating with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse personnel to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
  • Maintaining location control and proper identification of inventory items.
  • Generating inventory reports for management as requested.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring inventory practices comply with Headworks' ISO, quality, and safety standards.
  • Assisting with setup and maintenance of inventory items and system parameters.
  • Supporting shipping and receiving activities as needed to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Maintaining organized and accurate inventory storage areas.
  • Adapting to changing schedules and operational priorities as required.
