Inventory Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Inventory Specialist to support our Operations, Manufacturing, and Testing teams in Sugar Land, TX.

This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and preparing materials for shipment while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, warehousing, and logistics, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Due to business needs, employees may occasionally be required to work extended hours and/or Saturdays.

• Manage shipping and receiving operations while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Prepare outgoing materials, components, and products for shipment
• Verify quantities, labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation accuracy
• Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Inspect incoming parts and report damages or discrepancies
• Pack and unpack inventory and materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and storage areas
• Safely load and unload materials using manual and motorized equipment
• Operate forklifts for material handling activities
• Support inventory counts and reporting activities
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies
• Complete required certification and equipment training
• Support daily and weekly cleaning and organization activities
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ChatGPT
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions including standing, walking, repetitive movements, and exposure to heat or cold

• Experience with Lean / Operational Excellence practices (5S, Kaizen, etc.)
• Experience using inventory management systems
