We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Associate to support warehouse operations and logistics activities at our newly launched factory in Houston, Texas. This role is responsible for both warehouse execution and day-to-day logistics coordination, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and internal material movement.
As a new factory, this position requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, hardworking, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to support smooth and efficient operations.
- Receive incoming materials and goods, verify quantities and documentation, and ensure consistency between physical shipments and system records
- Perform outbound warehouse operations, including picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
- Organize, store, and label materials according to warehouse standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse area
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure inventory accuracy, and promptly report discrepancies or abnormal situations
- Support internal material movement between warehouse and production areas to ensure timely supply for manufacturing operations
- Coordinate daily shipment arrangements with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams, and follow up on delivery schedules and logistics issues
- Assist with shipping documentation, receiving records, system entry, and basic warehouse/logistics reporting
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools safely and efficiently
- Follow company policies and warehouse safety procedures related to workplace safety, fire prevention, loss prevention, and equipment operation
- Support the setup and improvement of warehouse and logistics processes as needed during the factory start-up stage
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support smooth warehouse flow and overall operational efficiency
- Perform other warehouse, logistics, and operational support tasks assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, logistics, material handling, or a related field preferred
- Candidates without direct experience may also be considered if they are willing to learn, dependable, and able to work in a physically active environment
- Experience in both warehouse operations and logistics coordination is strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills required; experience with Microsoft Excel, barcode scanners, WMS, ERP, or inventory systems is a plus
- Forklift certification is preferred; forklift or other warehouse equipment operation experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and move materials and stand for extended periods during the workday
- Strong attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and awareness of workplace safety
- Ability to work overtime or flexible hours when needed based on business demands
- Good teamwork, discipline, and adaptability in a fast-growing manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing plant, warehouse, or industrial environment
- Experience supporting a new factory setup, start-up operation, or fast-changing work environment
- Ability to handle both hands-on warehouse tasks and basic logistics coordination effectively
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus
