Job Description: As a Warehouse Worker at Malibu Events, you'll play a crucial role in the behind-the-scenes logistics that make our events possible. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the organization, inventory management, and movement of event equipment and materials within our warehouse facility. You'll work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment at event venues, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and store event equipment and materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Perform regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare equipment for transport to event venues, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks for event setups and breakdowns.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, sometimes exceeding 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, especially during peak event seasons.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
