Warehouse Associate – Houston, TX
The DH Pace Company is a family‑owned business with annual sales over $1 billion and operations in over 60 offices across the continental United States. We are looking for a reliable employee to join our warehouse team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean, safe working environment while loading and unloading delivery trucks, stocking inventory, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
Job Responsibilities- Receiving and off‑loading materials, verifying counts to purchase orders, and checking shipments for damage
- Ensuring that all stock is properly stored
- Staging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pick up
- Utilizing company‑specific software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information
- Using hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, lifts, drills, saws, etc.)
- Light fabricating
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift 75 pounds above your head and climb ladders with loads
- One (1+) year of warehouse experience preferred
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
- Forklift experience is a plus
