Material Handler
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all products in locations.
- Enter and maintain data accurately in SAP and JDA.
- Follow documentation procedures in accordance with Sarbanes‑Oxley and company policies.
- Interface with warehouse operations and production as needed.
- Review, research, and explain inventory variances; follow up on findings and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct MUV research and prepare reports for the Accounting department or Inventory Manager.
- Report Peco inventory weekly and explain any variances.
- Maintain files for easy review.
- Operate material handling equipment, including manual and automated machinery, and a sit‑down forklift.
- Transport stored items within the warehouse.
- Communicate proactively with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, and Customer Service teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines, including safe housekeeping and personal protection.
- Keep work area clean, dispose of trash, and store supplies in designated areas.
- Maintain clear aisles and exits free of obstructions.
- Follow safe lifting/carrying instructions for items of various sizes, shapes, and weights; report defective equipment.
- Report all job‑related injuries to supervision.
- Use computer to enter records.
- Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain).
- Mandatory overtime may be required.
High School Diploma or GED and/or a minimum of two years of experience in a warehousing environment. Prior experience with JDA or a similar WMS system is required. Previous forklift experience is preferred.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
