Superior Completion Services is seeking a Warehouse Laborer 1 for our office in Houston, TX.
As a Warehouse Laborer 1, you’ll be critical in keeping our operations seamless and efficient. You’ll be responsible for storing and moving raw materials, finished products, packing materials, and essential facility supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Comply with all company safety and security policies, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Report injuries, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions to a manager or supervisor immediately.
- Ensure equipment is operating properly and safely before use. Complete the required documentation to safely utilize the equipment. Report damaged equipment or damage to the facility to a manager or supervisor immediately.
- Ensure products are handled safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
- Provide outstanding service to our customers, ensuring that orders are 100% filled and on time.
- Use first-in, first-out for finished products, labeling and returning all products to designated locations.
- Follow all quality procedures on preservation, packaging, and storage of products.
- Adhere to on‑call/off‑call work schedule, being available on short notice around the clock and on-call week.
- Carry out daily activities with supervisor and/or manager to ensure the quality and quantity of work meet performance expectations set by management.
- Maintain documented procedures, ensuring the mandatory records are kept accurately and timely, including a record of material transfers out of the warehouse facility.
- Conduct accurate and timely inventories of raw product, finished product, packaging, materials and supplies, reconciling physical inventory as required.
- Participate in training and cross‑training in other areas to utilize labor efficiently and prevent downtime or disruption to operations.
- Assist loading and unloading of equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of zero to three years of related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Identify problems and communicate them to supervisors.
- Concentrate on tasks over a period without distraction.
- Complete and maintain reports and records accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner according to applicable procedures and work orders.
- Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
- Organize tasks and responsibilities to maintain production output standards.
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts per standard operating procedures.
- Read, interpret, and work from drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches, or specifications.
- Use time efficiently.
- Communicate effectively across divisions.
- Deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
