Primary Duty- Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

General Overview of Job
- Responsible for filling customers’ orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.

• Hand Select orders within warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler and freezer.
• Ensures quality of products being selected meet customer’s and Latin Specialties standards.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product are loaded and shipped.
• Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures.
• Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment. Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
• Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Conduct physical inventory as required.
• Stage Pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
• Shrink-Wrap product on loading dock.
• All other duties as assigned

Required

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Functional/Technical Knowledge:

Computer proficiency (Excel) and math skills.

Technical knowledge and proficiency level (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced):

Specialized Training:

Work Experience:

Required:

1 year Warehouse experience.

1 year Experience operating electric pallet jack and/or forklift.

Skills and Abilities:

Operate fork-truck and electric pallet jack.
