Job Purpose:

Responsible for an array of functions that include checking, receiving and processing incoming material, and basic data entry skills.

• Verify physical material versus paperwork.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials and prepare items for shipment.
• Sort and place material on warehouse racks, shelves or bins according to standards.
• Open crates and other containers.
• Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording inventory received.
• Responsible for some data entry.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and written procedures.
• Ability to prioritize work based on safety, quality, and productivity demands.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and personnel.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English language.
• Read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects.
• Ability to work prolonged and/or irregular hours.
