Warehouse Associate II
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Associate II is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations through accurate receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and delivery of supplies and materials. This role manages incoming and outgoing inventory, receives and distributes mail, maintains appropriate stock levels, performs cycle counts, and ensures timely fulfillment of departmental requests while maintaining accuracy, organization, and inventory control standards.

Inventory Distribution,
Requisition Fulfillment & Deliveries (40%)
- Pull, fill, and deliver supply requisitions to departments and facilities in an accurate, timely, safe and courteous manner.
- Pick up and deliver supplies between donor sites and company facilities.
- Deliver received goods to the appropriate departments and/or stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure all transported items are handled properly and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify and resolve non-routine issues related to receiving activities, inventory discrepancies, and supply orders.
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and the annual fiscal inventory count.
- Organize supplies, reagents, and materials to support proper inventory rotation and ensure older inventory is used first when appropriate (La Concha location only).
- Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and promptly notify management.
- Monitor warehouse temperatures and maintain documentation in compliance with SOPs.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness and inventory accuracy to support efficient operations.
- Pick up, sort, process, and distribute incoming mail and packages (La Concha location only).
- Apply appropriate postage to outgoing mail and ensure timely delivery to the designated postal facility for processing.
- Support departmental administrative and logistical needs as assigned.
- Maintain assigned vehicles and warehouse equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Follow all applicable organizational policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support compliance with quality, inventory control and workplace safety initiatives.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required, and a minimum of one (1) year of warehouse, inventory control, logistics or related experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer and data entry skills required, including experience using inventory management systems, spreadsheets, or other business applications.
- Ability to accurately maintain records, process inventory transactions, and perform routine administrative tasks.
- Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Must meet the requirements of Gulf Coast Blood's Vehicle Safety Program.
- Forklift certification required or the ability to obtain certification within a designated timeframe after hire.
