Warehouse Associate

Bobcat of Houston is a full-service Bobcat dealer located in Pearland. We sell and rent new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment. Our dealership also provides parts, in house service and field service for all of your equipment needs.

We are looking for an organized, detail oriented Warehouse Associate in our a fast paced and growing branch. If you want to take your professional shipping/receiving and inventory career to the next level,

• Order picking, packing and shipping.
• Parts and parts systems sold and inventoried by the dealership.
• The operation of all material handling equipment and tools which may include forklifts.
• All shipping requirements locally and to all territory locations.
• Knowledgeable on all inbound emergency order records and methods.
• Knowledgeable on all trans-shipping methods for emergency orders.
• Maintains all reports concerning parts returns to vendors.
• Coordinates efforts with warehousing personnel, parts management, accounting staff, and outside companies to dispose properly of scrapped parts.
• Maintains all reports concerning the scrapping of parts.
• Participates in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as-directed basis.
• Assists in determining causes of short- or over-item situations.

• A high school diploma, or equivalent in education.
• Experience in warehousing in a distribution business preferred.
• Knowledgeable on warehousing theory.
• Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures.
• Ability to learn proprietary software.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 60 pounds.
• Able to walk or stand for long periods of time..
• Sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes and loud noise.
• Excellent written and verbal communications required.
• Contributes to high employee morale. Maintains excellent parts, rental, supply, and sales force relations.

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl
