About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations for a growing industrial distribution and service business in the North Houston area. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who enjoys working with a team, interacting with customers, and keeping warehouse operations organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support daily warehouse operations
- Lead, train, and provide direction to warehouse employees
- Monitor productivity and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
- Coordinate receiving, shipping, inventory, and material movement
- Operate a forklift safely as needed
- Interact professionally with customers and assist with questions or requests
- Maintain accurate records and complete computer‑based tasks
- Use email, Microsoft Office, and company computer systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow and enforce company safety procedures
- Address daily operational issues and communicate with management
- Lead by example and assist with hands‑on warehouse duties when needed
- Previous warehouse supervisory or lead experience required
- Warehouse, distribution, or industrial experience preferred
- Forklift certification required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Microsoft Office and email experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on warehouse environment
The ideal candidate is a reliable, organized, and hands‑on leader who can effectively manage warehouse employees while maintaining excellent customer service and efficient daily operations. The ability to communicate clearly, solve problems, and take initiative is essential.
Compensation and Schedule- $40,000-$50,000/year ($19.23-$24.04/hour), depending on experience
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Some flexibility may be required based on business needs
