A generator arrives at DEPCO’s Houston facility after traveling hundreds—or sometimes thousands—of miles. Before it can move to the shop, inventory, or its next customer, someone must confirm that the equipment is correct, the paperwork is complete, and every detail is accounted for. That is where you come in.
As DEPCO’s Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will help guide generators, engines, marine equipment, parts, and other industrial products through every step of their journey. You will connect carriers, customers, Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Shop Operations, and the warehouse—keeping shipments visible, accurate, and moving safely.
What Your Day Could Look Like
Your morning may begin with an incoming engine, a condition inspection, and a careful check of serial numbers, quantities, and photographs. By midday, you could compare freight quotes for a flatbed shipment, confirm carrier requirements, or coordinate with the shop to ensure a generator is staged, protected, and ready to load.
Later, you may prepare a bill of lading, update shipment status in the company system, notify a customer about a delivery exception, or help resolve a freight claim. Throughout the day, your attention to detail will help prevent delays, protect valuable equipment, and keep DEPCO’s commitments on track.
