Seasonal Lead

• Oversee assigned warehouse team and area to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and complete orders accurately and on time
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities
• Recommend performance improvement actions as needed
• Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain work documents
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Safely operate various equipment and tools
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management
• Track orders and investigate problems
• Catalog and track goods and supplies
• Maintain a clean environment under the 7S program
• Work safely to protect team members
• Work Monday–Friday, 7:00pm–5:30am for a 4-month seasonal duration

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 1 year of SAP experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• 1 year of experience as a supervisor (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting
• Background in safety, OSHA or EHS training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Must comply with GXO COVID safety policies and CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test

Demonstrates expertise in warehouse operations management, including inventory control, team supervision, and safety compliance. Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems and SAP to optimize processes and ensure exceptional customer service.
