Zadok Jewelers, one of the largest Family owned and operated Jewelry Stores in Texas is looking for a full time MERCHANDISING/Inventory Clerk to join our amazing and growing team. Retail experience preferred.
THIS IS NOT AN INVENTORY/WAREHOUSE POSITION. IT'S A MERCHANDISING INVENTORY RETAIL POSITION. No need to apply unless you have merchandising work experience in a retail environment.
JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a highly responsible, trustworthy, and ethical individual to join our team. The Merchandising/Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of inventory management, with support to receiving and shipping processes. This role ensures accurate records of stock levels, timely receipt and distribution of materials, and cross training for Shipping and Receiving. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring smooth operational workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, and conduct periodic physical counts.
- Resolve issues with incorrect or missing orders.
- Communicate with vendors and assist with the creation of inventory reports and analyzing data to identify trends.
- Perform daily inventory management, including opening and closing inventory counts.
- Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator to receive, track, and ship out select inventory.
- Input and process new products into the inventory system, ensuring each item is accurately tagged and filed.
- Maintain meticulous logs for items checked in and out of inventory.
- Monitor and adjust pricing on inventory items weekly, as needed.
- Cross train to Receive, test and inspect incoming inventory, checking for damaged or defective items and ensuring proper documentation such as invoice, memos, certificates are received. Accurately enter received product into inventory systems, and distribute to the appropriate departments. Plan and track shipments according to customer or vendor requirements, prepare shipping packages while assigning to the appropriate service, and keep meticulous records of shipment information.
Manage packing supplies orders when needed.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in inventory management.
- Computer Literate
- Strong organizational skills and incredible attention to detail.
- Meticulous in managing inventory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite; basic computer skills required.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work Seated and or Standing for long hours, and able to lift 25+ pounds.
- Experience with RFID Tagging and management PLUS!
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
