Houston, TX 77040 Pay Rate: $12.00/hour Position Summary We are looking for dependable and hardworking Material Sorters to join a busy recycling warehouse. Material Sorters are responsible for sorting recyclable materials, removing unwanted items, and keeping materials organized as they move through the facility. This is a hands‑on, physical position that requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive work.

• Sort recyclable materials by type and category.
• Remove trash, non-recyclable items, and contaminants from recyclable materials.
• Inspect materials for quality and proper sorting.
• Place sorted materials into designated containers or areas.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
• Communicate safety, equipment, or material issues to a supervisor.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

• No previous recycling experience required; training will be provided.
• Previous warehouse, production, recycling, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Willingness to perform repetitive physical work.
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements.

• Ability to work around dust, noise, and recycled materials.
